I'm changing!

Hello lovelies!

As you can probably tell, I am changing my blog quite a lot!

I've been blogging for only 5 months and decided that I wanted to change my name and url before it's too late. I've only recently changed the name of my blog - as you can see!

I have made lots of banner designs for my blog but I'm going to be sticking with this one until I get my blog up and running again.

I had to make this post so I could let all you lovely people know that my blog name is changing and so my Bloglovin followers can move with me.

I am hoping that Bloglovin will be able to move my followers! But I'll update you all if they don't and I'll have to start from scratch! :-(

Creightons Squeeky Clean Instant Tan

Hello lovelies!

Today, I'm going to be writing a review on the 'Glow Stopper - Creightons Squeeky Clean Instant Tan Matte.'

creightons sqeeky clean instant tan

This is actually my sisters tan. She got it for her birthday in September but haven't used it.
One night I was tanning and I thought of trying my sisters tan instead of mine!

As soon as I applied the tan, I looked orange. I wasn't too sure if it was the light or whether I weren't used to seeing myself another colour other than pale. I went downstairs to show my mum and she said that it gives me a nice glow. So, the product does what it says.

I took before and after photos so you can see the difference. The photo quality is poor though as I took these on my phone.

I apply my tan at night so when I go to sleep so I can give it a few hours to dry properly. It did fade overnight which was good.

When I woke up, I could tell that it gave me a nice glow. It gives more of a glow compared to the tan I normally use (which is more dark than a glow.)
It fades after 24 hours but you can still tell that you're wearing it.

I would use this tan again because it gives a nice golden glow and it lasts about 24 hours. It also smells so good too - a nice fruity smell!

Boohoo Clothing Haul

Hello lovelies!
I recently bought some gorgeous clothing items from boohoo.com. It is so affordable and the clothing is amazing quality!

The standard delivery rate is £3.99 and that was what I was planning to choose. Although, at the time, the delivery price was £1.99 for next day delivery. So, why not!? And yes it did come the next day, at about 8:45am! My mum answered the door and brought the bag of clothes up to my room and tried them on first. She instantly fell in love and went online and ordered herself some.

Aveline Wrap Over Playsuit- £12.00 and I got this in a size 8. I thought that it would have been risky to get a size 6 because it would've come up quite high on my legs and the arms may have been a little too short. It fits perfectly though and it would look lush with some gorgeous heels.

boohoo grid print skirt

boohoo black and white mini skirt

Cherie Grid Print Mini Skirt- £6.00 and I got this in a size 8. I knew I was a size 8 before I bought it. I love the pattern and black and white goes with a lot. Would look nice with basically anything. A crop top or a white top tucked in would look cute.

boohoo long sleeved blouse

boohoo white blouse

boohoo white long sleeved blouse

Zip Front Long Sleeve Blouse- £18.00 and I got this in a size 8. Great work/interview outfit. Would look nice with leggings or black high waisted jeans. Could go with pretty much anything. My blazer from Miss Selfridge also looks good with it too! Sleeves are a bit long but they're easy to roll up. Would also look good tucked into high waisted jeans. Please bear in mind that the creases in this blouse already came like that and I haven't had time to iron them out.

boohoo aztec playsuit

boohoo patterned playsuit

boohoo aztec playsuit

Jessica Aztec Swing Playsuit- £12.00 and I got this in a size 8. The patterns are lovely and it's so colourful, so wearing any colour shoes are quite handy. Me and mum decided to share this playsuit and I do admit that it looks much better on her.

boohoo pink mini skirt

boohoo pink skirt

Masiy Basic Bodycon Mini Skirt- £5.00 and I got this in a size 8. It's so cheap for a skirt. I thought that I needed to get something other than black. Love the colour although it's quite see-through. So you'd have to wear light coloured underwear. I also didn't realise that the tag inside the skirt was poking out until I uploaded the photos.

boohoo swing sleeve top

boohoo frill swing sleeve top

boohoo white top

Lola Frill Sleeve Swing Top- £10.00 and I got this in a size 8. I'm really not sure on this top and I don't know why. I think it's the bottom part of the top. It just looked so much better on the model.

boohoo crop top

boohoo white cut out bralet

boohoo bralet

boohoo cut out bralet

White Cut Out Bralet- £12.00 and I got this in a size 6. I was debating on the size 6 and the size 8. I wasn't sure on the size 8 because the shoulder straps would've probably been too big as they're not adjustable. I wasn't sure on the size 6 because I thought it would've been too tight around the bust. (And it is!) It is a little hard to get on and off, but doesn't feel too tight on. Would look gorgeous with pretty much anything.

Have a lovely week!

Changing my blog name - Am I making the right choice?

Hello lovelies!

I am writing quite a simple and short post today. I have been blogging for about 5 months now (I think it's five anyway!) and I have been thinking about changing my blog name.

As soon as I created my blog, I sat down for hours and hours writing down ideas and wondering what I could name my blog. I came up with Simply Inspired - but it just didn't make me click.

As I'm still a newbie blogger, I thought that now would probably be a good time to change my blog name. But then a few questions popped into my head.

People know my blog as simply inspired, what will they think?
What about bloglovin? Will I lose my followers if I change my url.
Blogging accounts that I've joined such as - Pick a blogger, eTail PR Bloggers network and Bloggers Lounge - Would I have to let them know that I've changed my blog name?

What do you think? Have you ever done it and is it all hard work?
Please let me know! Thank you so much for reading & you're more than welcome to leave blog name ideas for me in the comments below!

Q1. What is the most amazing thing that has happened to you, so far in your life?
A1. The most amazing thing that has happened to me so far was passing my driving theory test! I have been revising since June 2014 and I took my first test in December 2014 and I failed 4 times. It really did get me down but I passed just over 2 weeks ago and it still won't sink in!

Q2. Why did you start blogging?
A2. I started watching YouTube videos and I came across someones video and she had her social media links in the video description box. I found her blog and I loved the idea of it and she really inspired me to start blogging. I was also on a website builder called Piczo, me and my friend made cool websites for fun and then I came across the blogging side of Piczo a few years later.

Q3. What or who is your blog inspired by?

A3. My blog is inspired by Iclelivzi. I have been watching her YouTube videos since she first started and I have read her blog about 10,865 times. (Ok, maybe that's a bit much. But, I have read her blog over and over again a lot of times.)

Q4. Where will your blog take you?

A4. I really don't know. Blogging is a great passion of mine and I really do enjoy it. Hopefully I'll have a few more followers than 31. But who knows where it will take me..

Q5. What is your dream in life?

A5. My dream is to be happy and be able to do things I want to do.

Q6.  If you were to win £10 million on the lottery, what would be the first thing you would spend it on?

A6. If my family need extra money for tax or rent or stuff like that, I would help them out. I would also give a lot to my mum and dad because they are such generous people and I couldn't ask for better parents!

Q7. Who is your favourite music artist and why?
A7. If you know me well, you would've guessed by now. Cher Lloyd. I have loved her since she walked on the X-Factor stage. Her songs also have so much meaning and helps me get through my life.

Q8. When are you at your happiest?

A8. When I'm in my comfort zone. At home, in my room or blogging.

Q9. Who is your hero/heroine/the person you most look up to? Why?

A9. The person who I look up to is Cher Lloyd. She doesn't care what people think of her and I wish I was exactly like that. She inspires me so much and keeps my head held high.

Q10. Describe your dream life

A10. My dream life. Wow. I would love to be a professional dancer and I would love to have a small family. I would also love to keep positive and help out other people as much as I could.

Q11. What is your favourite 'treat'?
A11. I don't know what you mean by 'treat' but if you mean food, it's definitely chocolate without a doubt!

Like last time, I nominate all of you reading this if you have less than 200 followers! Stick to the rules!

Here are your questions:

1. Explain the meaning behind your blog name.
2. Do you have any talents?
3. Who is your current favourite blogger?
4. What is the most valuable lesson you've learned in life?
5. What is your favourite childhood memory?
6. Share something we don't know about you.
7. What is your most recent purchase?
8. If you could live in any city in the world, what city would it be and why?
9. What camera do you use to take photos for your blog?
10. If you could own any brand in the world, which would it be and why?
11. Favourite pair of shoes you own?

It's ok to be unhappy!

Hello lovelies!

I'm doing a bit of a different post today. Lots of people will have their own and different opinions on this post but a few days ago I got quite upset over a few things. After a few hours of listening to music and picking myself up again I told myself that it's ok to be upset!

Life is always full of ups and downs, you never know what to expect.
Any one and every one can have multiple reasons why they're sad. That's why I say never judge anyone because you don't know their life!

it's ok to be unhappy

Keeping how you feel inside and putting a smile on your face all the time will make things worse. Ok, yes I understand that you need to keep your problems outside of work. But I've done this!
Doing this all of the time is exhausting and people will think that you're as happy as anything. Then one day, you will just pop because you've been strong for too long!

You need to let your feelings out! I had a huge break down a couple of months ago and it was horrible! I had no idea what to do and I ended up texting my closest friend to come and meet me because I was in that much of a state. I let all my feelings out to her and it made things a lot better. I felt a lot better about myself for telling her.

Plus, I now talk to a woman on Thursday mornings about what I'm struggling with and she is such an inspiring and helpful woman. I have also been told to go and see a doctor if I really need to because they can prescribe medication if they think I'd need it, but I think I'm ok for now.

I am going through a lot right now and I'm sure lots of other people are too!

I advise you to:

  • Talk to somebody. Whether it's your parents, teacher, partner, best friend, doctor, councillor or even your pet (pet sounds silly, but it worked for me before he died).

  • If you want to cry, then you go ahead and cry! Don't hold your tears back. You will feel much better after letting it all out.

  • Listen to music that you love! Even try singing along to it, it will take your mind off things.

  • Leave the house. Some people like to go for a walk and get some fresh air before going back home.

  • Write a list of what makes you happy and list of what makes you sad. Then go through the sad list and think about how you can change things.

  • Arrange to go out with your family or friends - maybe see a movie or go out for a meal or even go for a road trip!
happiness

Take your mind off of things somehow but remember it is also ok to be upset whenever you need to be. Remember, if you're unhappy with a certain something you can change it.

I am not a professional but I am always here if you ever need a chat. Email me at megselizabeth97@gmail.com or tweet me @megs_elizabethx

Burberry Kisses Review

burberry kisses review

 Hello you lovely people!

I've always been very fond of Burberry, but only their bags and clothes. I had no idea that they done make-up.

I got nominated on Twitter by one of my close friends to receive a free sample of the Burberry Kisses lipstick (on my private and personal account).

I just clicked on the link I got sent and had to put in my address. I had to pick from 2 shades - one was a dark red colour and a nude beige. I picked the nude beige. I was then allowed to nominate someone on Twitter, so I nominated my sister as I know that she loves her lipsticks.

It came in gorgeous packaging and the lipstick is so tiny but you get so much of it! The design which is actually on the lipstick matches the lid to it! I am just obsessed!

I got this in the colour Nude Beige No.1 as I thought it would suit me more than the red.

The swatch doesn't look the same as when it's on the lips!

As you can see there's a lot more colour on the swatch rather than on the lips. I really do love it though! Burberry Kisses are available in 28 shades on their website and I'm heading there in a minute to take a look at some more shades! Plus, they're only £25.

I forgot to mention that I bite my lips! Normally when I wear lipsticks, my lips look bumpy but with this, you can't even tell that I bite them!

A big thumbs up from me and I am so glad that I received this free sample.

Go and look at Burberry Kisses here- http://uk.burberry.com/

*I was not paid to write this post and Burberry are sending out free samples so they're not sending them specifically to me*

What's In My Bag?

whats in my bag

Hello and Happy Easter! I have seen loads of people do this on YouTube and also blog posts. It's now my turn to give this post a go. Even though I didn't have a clue what was in my bag when I done this post, I managed to give my bag a good clear out.

ted baker bag

I got this bag from Ted Baker in Essex during the summer. I saw the hot pink one first and I said to my sister "Oh my god, if this was black I would've had it!" I then came across the black bag about 10 minutes after browsing around the store. I was so happy, I had to get it.

It was £100 at the time. My birthday was a couple of weeks before I got the bag, so I had a lot of birthday money and I didn't know what to spend it on. So, I did spend most of my birthday money on this bag. But, it was totally worth it, I'm absolutely in love with it!

I honestly don't have a clue what's inside, so lets take a look...

Make-up Bag-  I'm sure most girls will carry their make-up around with them. It's just so easy to touch up on your make-up. Like my bag, this is also Ted Baker. I got this years before I got my bag. I am surprised as it has lasted me quite a while.

2015 Diary- I always get a diary for Christmas from my parents. I just love the way it looks and it is also a slim one so it's easy to get it in and out of your bag.

2015 diary

Pile of random receipts- I don't have a clue how I have so many shopping receipts and bus tickets in my bag. I've now sorted them out and put them in the bin though.

Plasters- These are so handy! You never know when you will need plasters.

Umbrella- I have this Radley London umbrella. I love its pretty designs on it too! You never know when it's going to rain!

radley london umbrella

Some random money- I found some random change at the bottom of my bag. They're now in my purse!

A heart shaped mirror- I've had this mirror ages but it looks so cute! So, I keep it in one of the little pockets in my bag.

Purse- Obviously I will keep my purse in my bag. Yet again, this is also Ted Baker. I also got this before I got my bag. This purse is big enough to store everything I need.

ted baker purse

Keys- I always carry around my keys, just in case I go home and there's no one there. (I've been in that situation before.) I also have cute little keyrings on.

Inhaler- I have really bad asthma, so I always need to keep this with me.

Vaseline- Most of the time I suffer with really bad dry lips so I always carry around a pot of Vaseline.

Hand Sanitiser- I always keep a mini bottle of hand sanitiser in my bag. This smells so good too! You can also get a strawberry laces and a bubblegum one.

hand gel

Random plastic bags- These come in handy when you're out and about and need an extra bag. Also, once I've used my umbrella and it's wet, I put it in one of the plastic bags and carry the umbrella around in that instead of the rain dripping off of it everywhere.

McKenzies sniffing salts- I suffer with blackouts/fainting once in a while. Whenever I feel like I'm about to go, I have to quickly get these out and sniff them and they help.

Deodorant- It is so handy carrying around some deodorant with me. You never know when you may need it.

I also have a pocket either side of my bag. I keep Nurofen tablets in one side and Piriton (allery tablets) in the other side. I will always need these at some point.

I hope you liked this post and have a great Easter everyone!

Max Factor False Lash Effect Fusion Review

Hello lovelies!

I normally use Rimmel mascaras as they are usually my favourites. It does exactly what it's meant to do. It gives amazing volume and length and it is so worth the money.

max factor false lash effect fusion review

It wasn't clumpy on the first few uses. After using it for a couple of weeks, it does start to get a little clumpy. (Depending on how often you use the mascara.)
It's quite a fat brush, which I love! I got it from Boots for £11.99.

The purple colour and the silver font caught my attention at first. You can definitely see the difference between my normal mascara and this one. Bear in mind that I don't use eyelash curlers. I really recommend this for anyone who would like lengthly and voluminous lashes.
